SELF-DEFENSE:

Rules and Regulations

All Beginner Divisions: Three (3) required techniques.

  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a punch attack 
  •  1 Self-defense sequence against a kick attack
  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a grab

1. Sequences may be performed with each technique individually (one at a time) or simultaneously with multiple attackers. One time only at street speed.

All Intermediate Divisions: Three (3) required techniques and One (1) of own choosing.

  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a punch attack
  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a kick attack
  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a grab
  • 1 Self-defense sequence of any selection

1. Sequences may be performed with each technique individually (one at a time) or simultaneously with multiple attackers. One time only at street speed.

All Advanced & Brown Belt Divisions: Three (3) required techniques and Two (2) of own choosing. 

  •  1 Self-defense sequence against a punch attack
  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a kick attack
  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a grab
  • 2 Self-defense sequences of any selection

1. Sequences may be performed with each technique individually (one at a time) or simultaneously with multiple attackers. One time only at street speed.

Adult Black Belt Divisions: Three (3) required techniques and Four (4) of own choosing.

  •  1 Self-defense sequence against a punch attack
  • 1 Self-defense sequence against a kick attack 
  •  1 Self-defense sequence against a grab 
  •  4 Self-defense sequences of any selection

1. Sequences may be performed with each technique individually (one at a time) or simultaneously with multiple attackers. One time only at street speed.
